A HEART-FELT MESSAGE FOR ALL MOTHERS

GOD HAS BESTOWED ON US HIS MOST PRICELESS GIFT! THESE ARE THE POWER GIFTS OF THE FUTURE, CREATED FOR GREATNESS.

SPEAK LIFE FOR IT WILL FLOW LIKE WATER

Raising children does not come with a manual or a blueprint; we wing it most of the time, hoping to get it right. We hope that the words we have spoken to them will remain in the back of their minds while they make new acquaintances and attend school. Our words have so much life in them, and they are the fuel that propels them to where they need to go. Our kids look up to us for things like "excellent job," "high five," "that wasn't right," "I need you to fix that," and so on. Because they are dealing with so many various issues, it is critical that we are their most essential impact in their lives. We have an adversary who prowls the area like a roaring lion, hunting for prey. 1 Peter 5:8  If we aren't careful, the wrong words we say to our children could be just what the enemy needs to lure them away. Our youngsters are fed misinformation all day and are genuinely puzzled about what is going on, which is where we come in.

Words of encouragement speak life so don't be afraid! Speak over them when they are sleeping, when they are playing, when they are out with friends, and oh yes! I am a praying mother who believes wholeheartedly in the POWER OF THE BLOOD, sweetie pie. Yes, plead it over them! Our children are engaged in a battle in which they have no idea how to fight this battle! As loving mothers, we must kneel in prayer and seek the Lord's face for our children. I don't care if you agree or disagree with what they're doing, just pray! I don't care if they are sleeping with a boy or a girl, smoking, drinking, cursing, and so on pray for them and love them unconditionally.

I NEVER KNEW WHAT MY LIFE WAS GOING TO BE LIKE

Growing up, I could only imagine what my future would hold, but I honestly didn't have a clear picture of what that would entail. I had a lot of daydreams, but I don't remember what they were about. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was set up for failure. A child who made people smile but who, on the inside, had no idea what she was capable of doing or being, only living way below her self-worth value. She didn't know the difference because no one ever explained it to her. She had no idea that her inner wounds would one day become a battleground for pain, hurt, and rejection. I wish someone had breathed new life into me and my situation. I had a few good people come into my life who added some value to it, but I was still not seeing or getting a glimpse. We must stop sprinkling fairy dust on our children; they are in a war and cause when I was growing up I had no idea I was in a war of good and evil and evil was consistently knocking at my door.

God had my attention at 21, but because I was hypnotized by the pain and dilution of life, He needed to do a little more. I became a disciple of Jesus Christ when I was 21 years old, and if I thought my life was hell before Jesus Christ, I was wrong. I was on the front lines of Satan's arrows of fire. I didn't pay much attention of my life being difficult, I just kept hoping for better and loving my child. I knew I was in for a long haul, and I still believe that as mothers we need to speak life! I fought for nearly two decades to have my daughter tell me, "I don't understand why my friends have trouble talking to their mothers" and I explained to her that during all those times when we were homeless, asking for help, not knowing what would happen next, all I knew was to love, cherish you, and keep a few things consistent like school and making sure we ate every day. I didn't have a place to cook, but we made do with takeout. My love for her brought us closer together, even when she thought she knew everything and it seemed like a wedge was being built, it all worked out in our favor.

GOD SEES THE PAIN

When we do the right thing, there is always a way for our efforts to be rewarded. I didn't know my future and didn't have anyone speaking life into me, so I learn how to do things through hard and difficult times, but now I know to pray over my children and speak life over them all the time. I pray that the Lord directs their steps and that they find favor throughout their lives. We have the ability to change the atmosphere in our homes, no matter how bad it is. Begin with a whispered prayer, then progress to a conversation with the Lord, and finally to a full-fledged honest conversation with your heavenly Father. I prayed a lot, and I was mad and angry a lot, but God had a plan in the midst of it all. Encourage your children and fight for them. When they look back, they will be grateful to you. And if you've gone home with the Father, they'll look up to the heavens and say, "Thank you, mom; I didn't see what you were doing then, but I can see and live it now!"

HAVE THE FAITH TO BELIEVE THAT IT WILL WORK OUT

  • 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight.

BE BRAVE AND COURAGEOUS YOU WILL OVERCOME

  • Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

“Today is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it because you have not clue how your life is going to change tomorrow. Be of courage and of good cheer trouble don't always last. You are worthy and so are your children!.”
