As a personal trainer, I've been asked many questions about what to eat, when to eat, and how to eat. I've been asked when I should work out, how often, and whether it matters if I skip a day or not. My response to all of the questions is the same: whatever you do, make sure you do it consistently. How can you expect to see any difference in your life if you don't have a plan and are inconsistent? This is the approach I take in all aspects of my life. How can I expect to make money, raise my child, and have great relationships if I don't have a plan or am inconsistent? We've all heard the expression "people don't fail to plan; they fail to plan." Without some type of structure in your life, you will lose focus, become distracted, and begin to lose hope.
I like to look at everything when I am offering or giving advice on what to eat, drink, or how to exercise. I am a health investigator, which sounds funny but is absolutely true. I am an all-natural kind of girl, and anything that looks good piques my interest I like to look into it for a variety of reasons.
We often don't think about what we eat, but it is extremely beneficial to keep track of the substances and foods that we consume.
