Life is a journey, and we never know where we're going. Because we don't know what to expect from one day to the next, we often begin to feel hopeless and anxious, which leads to discouragement or depression. If you're hurt and want to throw in the towel, I understand, and so does the King.

We need more intimacy with the Lord and with those in God's Kingdom. Date Night With The King is an evening to remember. We, too, have been called for such a time as this, just as God called Esther to save a nation. We are all called to do something for the Lord, but there are many voices that get in the way and prevent us from hearing our King when He is trying to get our attention. This night, we will return our attention to the King and focus on our business, life goals, events, family, and anything else that keeps us from spending time with Him or seeking His direction on how to do things the way He wants us to do.

Allow our pain or struggle to propel us toward our goal. Allow God to give us a clarification for what is going on, and allow the Lord to reveal, uncover, and unleash all that He has planned for our lives. If you've been afflicted, hit on all sides, and you're crying, discouraged, anxious, and ready to give up. Come to the King's dinner table, eat and drink with other women who want to fight alongside you, and shout from the mountaintop, "I will not be defeated, I am an overcomer!"
