DAY 5: INTIMATE FASTING & FITNESS

THE LION AND THE LIONESSES (FREE YOUR FEMININE ENERGY BECAUSE YOU ARE LOVED FIERCELY)

We've been focusing on this week's topic of how to actively grow our relationship with the Son, the Holy Spirit, and our heavenly Father. We talked about spending time with God and discovering what our heavenly Father desires. As we consider the previous week's devotionals, something came to mind as I was preparing today's devotional. I prayed to the Holy Spirit for clarification as the title came to me. Something about the lion and the lioness' responsibilities stood out to me when I started reading about them. The men and females play distinct roles in the pride; while the males mark and protect the pride's territory, the females cooperate to hunt and take care of the cubs. I started thinking about how Jesus is the Lion and how significant the roles that play women in God's Kingdom. As we fulfill our responsibilities as the women that God has called us to be, Jesus protects us from the enemy.Ā whileĀ keepingĀ an eye on our familyĀ and guardingĀ our children from unseen forces.

ForĀ a few weeks now, feminine energy has come my way more often than I can count, and the contrast between feminine and masculine energy has been deeply ingrained in my spirit. These devotionals this week on intimate fasting and fitness is directing our attention to become more intimate with our Father in heaven and to fall in love with Him. As I was thinking about this, I realized that we must becomeĀ softĀ and submissive toward our Father and His love for us in order to do this. We are like lionesses who are able to access both our male and feminine energy. Unfortunately, a lot of us have fallen into the lieĀ or idea that we must be both the Lion and the Lionesses. We are not designed to carry the burden of accomplishing what the Lion does. Because the enemy has caused such chaos in our lives since we were little, we have come to believe that if we don't take care of ourselves, no one else will, even though Jesus is teaching us that weĀ don't have to. Keep in mind our scripture from yesterday that, the enemy comes to still, kill, and destroy John 10:10.

I will supply all your needs according my riches in heaven, your help comes from me the real Lion, not the false lion who deceives you likeĀ that serpent, the devil. Many of us are battling with being masculine, independent, being the Lion and Lionesses of our homes verses, being soft, feminine and submissive to the Father and falling deeply in love with Him. God is aware of our desire for compassion, softness, and emotional surrender in order to fall in love with His omnipresence, omnipotence, protection, and provision. He even understands our desire to fully devote ourselves to the man the Lord would send our way or the one He has already placed in our life. Believe that the Father is aware of everything, and that is why His love is compassionate, patient, and flawless. By giving that burden to God through Jesus, you can relax and rely on the Holy Spirit.

Challenge Yourself

Like a lioness, you are courageous, tenacious, and strong. However, you are also as delicate as a dove, just like the Holy Spirit. Because God has given you His wisdom to manage His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, you are wise and intelligent. I hope you have enjoyed this week's devotional. If you have any thoughts or comments, please share. I encourage you to find a peaceful setting this weekend where you can be still before your Creator and acknowledge His love. Let it all out as you show Him how much you love and appreciate him. You were given some challengesĀ this week to grow closer toĀ your Father. Spend time with Him so that He can reveal what is in your greatest desire. He has your best interests in mind. Remember to set up a date with your Creator, look your best, smell amazing, and then observe how He willĀ respondĀ to you.

3 Scriptures To Mediate On And Questions To Ask Yourself

Philippians 4:19

Mark 9: 25-29

1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

I hope that when you reflect on these verses, you will fully comprehend that God, your heavenly Father, genuinely wants to be intimateĀ with you. He want to protect you, provide for you and your loved ones, and grant you what He has already promised you. Accept His words as a covering over you and memorize them. Keep in mind that He actually loves you fiercelyĀ and sees you as the apple of His eye.

Ā

Scripture #1: Do you believer that God will supply your needs?

Philippians 4:19 (KJV)

But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Scripture #2: Do you want to find rest with Jesus and live freely in Him?

Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me, Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with meā€” watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heave or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

Scripture #3: How are you letting God take care of you?

Psalms 121:1-3

I lift up my eyes to the mountainsā€”where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slipā€”he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Closing Prayer:(Let's Mediate On Yesterday's Prayer)

Dear Heavenly Father

Lord, I ask that you be with me, leading and guiding me through whatever you have planned for me. I give this moment to You as IĀ prayĀ for my family and myself. I ask that you be with us through every trail that seems unbearable. Thank you for being the Lion of Judah in my life and dying for me. Your love is incomparable. I believe your word when you tell me that no weapon formed against me shall prosper and that every word that rises up against me shall be condemned on the day of Judgement. Help me as I grow closer to you, to be more like Jesus, and less like the world I see. Please cover my family and I in Jesus' priceless blood. Give me a heart that will trust you with everything. I appreciate you and I love you.

I pray all this in Jesus Christ name Amen.
